Weather conditions were difficult during Saturday's qualifying session with storm and heavy rain, but things cleared up for Sunday morning and it was a race under the sun. Starting from eighth position on the grid, Chrisopher Brueck had a good start and held his position. He settled into a good rhythm and caught back up to the pack in front. The result was a seventh place finish. "Peter Dumbreck, who has been in front of me that time, slowed me down. I could go much faster, but Peter blocked me. Therefore Chris Mamerow could close up and put some pressure on me. At the end I could hold seventh position which makes me happy. As well I get the points of the sixth position because peter Dumbreck has been a guest starter." said Cologne based Brueck. In regards to the setup on the Porsche, Brueck had no complaints. "Thanks to the team of Schnabl Engineering which gave me a well prepared car. In the last part of the race I could go faster due to a good set up. We worked hard the whole weekend and improved in all sessions."
